Psychedelic band Mezar transports us into Sohan’s poetic universe. Carried by the hypnotic voice of Algerian singer and electric guitarist Chakib Kouidri and the chords of Elsa Corgié on synthesizers, the energy is transmitted all over the studio. Winner of the 2019 Prix Radio Canada, Mezar is a project inspired by the billions of dust particles that each of us sows along the way. From this wandering to the pursuit of life, they explore the possibilities of a music whose boundaries move with the times.
